Don't know what became of it .. I lived in the development behind it from 1951-1959.  I would go there often.  I remember my mother gave me 50 cents once for dinner - I had a hamburger and a coke and had 15 cents leftover

My husband is trying to track down information about his dad's diner back around the mid 1950's.  Was called Roy's Diner.  His uncle owned the Roy's Diner on Hempstead Turnpike. 

Does anyone remember any more info about the diner on Hicksville Road?
