Is this the Robbie Cullen that was going out with Toni Ann Cavaliere? I worked at the Carvel next to Brills for a few years, 1969-1971.

I went into the USN at the start of 11th grade so I never finsihed high school. I had bright red hair and always seemed to be in trouble as a kid. some of the people I remember hung around the candy store at the Brill's market, by John West School. Any old friends out there?

I remember you but you wont remember me.  I lived next door to a girl named ronni maffia, that you went out with.  My brother henry told you to give me your swing in the park-you didn't want to give it up your  because you were hanging out with  ronni. I do remember your red hair.  my brother tommy was the same age as ronni. ronni hung around with pat ossino and jeannie koch.

Your name sounds familiar to me.
I went to Sylvia Packard Jr. High after St. James elementary school, but we moved after 9th grade.
The candy store you referred to is that the one on Hicksville Road that used to have a soda fountain in it. Loved that place. My parents were sure that drugs were dealt out of there - but we loved going!

Robert,

If you would of graduated Class of 1971 then you and I would of shared experiences throughout high school.  I worked at Brill's Supermarket, when it was owned by Mr. Brill and his mother.  I also worked at D&D's on the weekends as well.  I spent the majority of my after school hours working part-time jobs, so I spent very little time in after school programs.

I went to the last class reunion (30 years) and met a lot of old school mates, sadly some of them were no longer with us to be a part of our lives.  I hope all is well with you.

Harry,

I remember a guy named James used to do the papers in there on Sundays around the time you speak of. I think he also went to Island Trees.

I also remember Ruby (the owner)and his wife, I think his son Mark (I think that was his name) worked there, who always seemed out of it, and a very nice women who had a little girl worked there also, I think her name was Valerie or something like that.
